Another Great week another round of NFL Games

Christmas is almost here! Along with another great week of football and the end of the eventful year that is 2019. Non the less there are still games to be played before Celebrating New Year with fireworks and we have picked the ones you shouldn’t miss at all.

Buffalo Bills (10-4) @ New England Patriots (11-3)

Description: Saturday, December 21, 4:30pm EST on NFLN

One week after an exhilarating win against the Pittsburgh Steelers (8-6), the Bills head to New England to face their biannual division foe. Buffalo has won only 4 of the past 31 games it has played against with Patriots with Tom Brady at quarterback. This feels like it could be the fifth. After struggling early against the league’s de-facto worst team last week, New England still has not been able to address nagging issues on the offensive side of the ball. Meanwhile, Buffalo’s defense has been sensational. The last time these two teams met, the Patriots narrowly came out on top. Don’t be surprised to see it the other way around this time.

New Orleans Saints (11-3) @ Tennessee Titans (8-6)

Description: Sunday, December 22, 1pm EST on FOX

Four teams currently sit at the top of the NFC with 11 wins, and New Orleans is one of them. Yet only two of these teams will receive the coveted first-round bye in the playoffs (a week off, and essentially a free win). After a disappointing narrow defeat to the Houston Texans (9-5) last week, the Tennessee Titans will do everything possible to spoil the fun for Drew Brees and the Saints, and (hopefully) regain the AFC South division title in the process.

Dallas Cowboys (7-7) @ Philadelphia Eagles (7-7)

Description: Sunday, December 22, 4:25pm EST on FOX

Without a doubt, this is THE match of the week. Dallas and Philadelphia sit neck-and-neck at the top of the NFC East. The winner of this game will effectively win the NFC East and earn the No. 4 seed for the NFL playoffs this January. The loser will be eliminated from playoff contention. Both of these teams entered the season with talented rosters and high expectations. Both have experienced thrilling wins (Dallas absolutely clobbered the LA Rams last week), and heart-wrenching losses. With only 7 wins each, both are lucky to even have a chance to make the playoffs this year–but only one team will.

Green Bay Packers (11-3) @ Minnesota Vikings (10-4)

Description: Monday, December 23, 8:15pm EST on ESPN

Green Bay leads the NFC North will 11 wins and a perfect 4-0 division record. But Minnesota’s No. 4-ranked rushing attack led by Dalvin Cook and constantly improving quarterback play courtesy of NFL veteran Kirk Cousins may prove too much for Green Bay’s No. 22-ranked defense. Cousins is continuing to exceed expectations; his 111.1 QBR just barely trails that of league MVP favorite Lamar Jackson (112.8 QBR). Meanwhile, the Packers’ 336.6 yards/game on offense is below the league average. Can Minnesota pull off the upset?
